Kopilocano - Cordillera Muscovado Sugar

Muscovado sugar is a natural form of sugar made by evaporating the liquid from cane juice without removing the molasses. It has a dark brown color and contains small amounts of minerals and antioxidants.

It is often touted as a natural, unrefined alternative to brown sugar. It owes its strong flavor, high moisture content and ultra-dark color to molasses, the "impurity" that's stripped out of more refined sugars.
